DINNER THEATRE

In 2015, Theatre; Just Because and Waypoints came together with a vision to engage the performing arts to support the most vulnerable in our community, and thus the annual dinner theatre fundraiser was born. The first production, Fanny & Manny Tie the Knot by Leslie McBlair took place in 2016 at the Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts, and it has been a staple in the Fort McMurray events calendar ever since.

Waypoints is a social profit organization working to end domestic-family violence, sexual assault, abuse and homelessness, serving the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo since 1982, and Theatre; Just Because is proud to support their work.

It’s 1999! ULTIMATE REALITY is an annual reality TV game show filmed before a LIVE studio audience. The participants are reality TV champions from different reality programs competing for one million dollars to be donated to their charity of choice, along with the title of ULTIMATE CHAMPION. These eight competitors are as off-beat as they are hungry for victory. And who decides the winner? THE AUDIENCE! Filled with hard-hitting contests, nail-biting drama, and, of course, cringe-worthy diary confessions.
