COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER

Emma Carter is an interdisciplinary artist originally from Fort McMurray. A graduate of the University of Victoria, Emma holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with majors in Creative Writing and Theatre. Her passions include poetry, movement, and design.

In her professional life, she is the Engagement Manager at Arts Council Wood Buffalo, where she oversees communications and connects with local artists. As a volunteer, she is proud to be the Communications Manager for Theatre; Just Because and the North Region Director for the Alberta Drama Festival Association.

Emma also teaches youth and adult theatre programming. She is passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces for students to foster their creativity and learn through collaboration.
