Jayme Barter

Jayme Barter is a local theatre artist, musician, and music producer, born and raised in Fort McMurray. She attended Holy Trinity High School and was involved with theatre as an actor and assistant director. She has been working in technical theatre since 2016 with Keyano Theatre Company’s Into the Woods, Footloose The Musical, and Peter Pan Jr. Before graduating in 2017, she Assistant Stage Managed Awesome 80’s Prom- the second installment of Theatre; Just Because’s iconic dinner theatre in association with Waypoints. She also stage managed Hanna Fridhed’s Two Eggs, which won Best Production at ADFA’s North Zone Festival and competed in Provincials. Jayme returned to Fort McMurray in early 2019 and worked on Macbeth with Theatre; Just Because and made her debut as Stage Manager with Evil Dead The Musical in late 2019, directed by Hanna Fridhed.
